                             NEXT WEEK

 Trinity Sunday- May 18, 2008

The grace of Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all

We celebrate the coming of God to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

1st Reading- from the Old Testament

Exodus 34:4-6, 8-9

This reading depicts God telling us who he is. Moses recognizes the sinfulness of humankind and asks forgiveness for all of us.

2nd Reading- from the New Testament Letters

2 Corinthians 13:11-13

We find the scriptural reference to the liturgical action of the Sign of Peace in this short reading from Corinthians. Try to remember this message as you turn to your neighbor at mass today.

Gospel-

John 3:16-18

Jesus instructs Nicodemus in the great love of God for all of us. He spells out the consequences of unfaithfulness and the good that awaits the believer
